Tomburn is committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees and of the public. In light of this commitment, we have set policies establishing:

  

 

  • A Solvent Waste Reduction Program 
     
  • Waste Recycling Program 
               
  • Working with suppliers to develop and use alternatives to hazardous products

 The Chromate Conversion currently in use at Tomburn incorporates the use of Chromate (VI) compounds. Part of the environmental Stratgey is to resolve the need for these within our process and we our working with our suppliers to formulate a solution to this problem without effecting the quality & life span of the products we offer

 TOMBURN is committed to continually improve its manufacturing practices and processes to fall in line with the Best Available Technicques (BAT) with regards to Environmental Systems. Basing the technciques on the Process Guidance Notes as laid down by Secretary of State, Tomburn endeavours to meet all of the targets set by its local governing bodies.
